Rev 13:18
“This calls for wisdom, let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast…”
Wisdom is probably the greatest virtue that is needed for a fruitful stay on earth. This is how the Bible puts it
” wisdom is the principal thing, and with all thy getting get understanding”. (Prov 4:17)
What’s more, it is even more crucial for us to attain these twin virtues as we move closer to the end of the age. This why I say so:
- We will need understanding to be able to identify the coming in of the antichrist.
Matt 24:15. Jesus states, “when you see standing in the holy place, the abomination that causes desolation…let the reader understand”. That means the antichrist would be set up as a ‘normal’ political system that could elude many. - It will take wisdom and understanding to be able to identify the mark of the beast. (Rev 13:18.)
Our key Scripture clearly implies that the mark of the beast will be a coded number of a man, that needs some wise calculations in order for it to be identified. - It will take wisdom to win souls for Christ and turn many to righteousness.
Remember, He that winneth a soul is wise.”And those who are wise, are those who will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who turn many to righteousness like the stars forever and ever.”(Dan12:3).
Dear friend, the goodnews is that wisdom is not hard to come by. In fact, it is just a prayer away.
The Bible says: ”If anyone of you lacks wisdom let him ask of God, who gives liberally… and it will be given to him…”(James 1:5).
Tap into the wisdom that comes from above and outsmart your enemies today!
“The one who gets wisdom loves life; the one who cherishes understanding will soon prosper”. (Prov 19:8)
